Hi

A lot has been happening since we last wrote. We just had a team from spruce Grove, Alberta with us for about 2 weeks. Also we were in El Salvador for 5 days. One of our leaders got married. We have had 4 birthday parties. 2 breakfast for prostitutes, the list goes on and on.

We had a great time with the group from Spruce Grove. There main missions was to help us here at House of Refuge. For two weeks they were mainly working alongside us to bring the love of Christ to the alcoholics/drug addicts. They were at 4 services with the men and they all seemed to have a great time. We even did a curses to blessings course with the men as the men were able to break off the curses of up to four generations over their lives and to proclaim the blessings that they have in Christ Jesus.

The breakfasts for the prostitutes has been going really well. We have been getting a good response. There are usually about 10-15 ladies that have been coming out. Many times we see how deeply God touches them as many times they are weeping from the overwhelming love of Christ reaches out to them.

We praise God that we have been getting a few more leaders here in House of Refuge. We are able to fill the 'time gaps' that we could not fill before. Many times the men were left alone without a leader and that could sometimes cause problems between them or some would leave without permission. However, we are now working on a schedule to have one leader in House of Refuge at all times. We have four people working alongside us now. First we have Nelson that has come back after his month leave to get married and settled in with his wife. Then we have Adam that stays in House of Refuge each night.  Juan Zetino that continues to go strong and Mario our newest member that comes in the afternoons and helps disciple the men with us. We are beginning to form into a good team.

Now, we are looking forward to my home church in Ontario coming to visit us. 17 youth from Niagara Celebration Church will be with us sharing the Gospel to the Guatemalans.
