Well, time is definitely going by pretty fast here. We will be back in Guatemala next week already. We are looking forward to it. It is hard to believe that 2 months have past already. We have really had a good time here in Canada and visiting with you. Thank you so much for all your prayers and support. We appreciate it very much.

We want to mention that we are looking for someone to come to Guatemala. We are looking for a person that could spend 4-6 months in Guatemala. It would be best a single man that has the ability to come for a short time. However, we have plenty of room in Feviva if a married couple were to come.

Once we go back to Guatemala we are very aware that we will soon be losing one of our main leaders. Not that we will be losing him completely because he will still be working with us just not to the same extent. Nelson, one of our two leaders taking care of the men, is getting married in July to Melissa Weiler. Next month he will be preparing for his wedding so we will need someone to fill his position.

For a long time we have felt that it would be a north American. Someone that can understand our hearts and also willing to understand the Guatemalan culture. You would need to be willing to learn Spanish. We have people to help you with that.

The position is to be a 'spiritual leader' to these men. It is a voluntary pastoral type position. We will need you to live on sight at House of Refuge. Please, if you are interested and want to know more about the responsibilities send us an email at stevekarla@feviva.org.
