Dr. Dana & Marge Bailey

On February 17, 2006, Fe Viva opened its new Dental Clinic! Thanks to Dr. Dana and Marge Bailey and their dental contacts, the clinic has two complete operatories. During four days of work approximately 120 – 130 patients were seen, some came for several visits to complete their necessary work.

Susan Seidel and husband Fred worked specifically with the children of Casa Esperanza and our Sponsor Family children. Several children actually fell asleep in the chair while they had their work done!

Soon the clinic will have a new air conditioner installed as well as some adjustments made to the electrical and pluming situation in the clinic.

Dr. Osiel, a dentist from Guatemala has promised to make regular visits to the clinic with students from the Dental College. Fe Viva will now offer regular dental care to our area.

We are hoping to host Canadian dental teams on a regular basis to help with the considerable dental work needed in our area.
